3 College of Education Projects Receive Diversity Mini-Grants from OIED
The Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity has awarded 2017-18 Diversity Mini-Grants to faculty and staff leading 11 projects across the NC State campus, including three in the NC State College of Education: (1) Brothers United in Leadership Development (BUILD) Summit, led by Regina Gavin Williams, director for student engagement and diversity coordinator; (2) Building Capacity: Muslim and Arabic-Speaking Counselors in the Triangle, led by Adria Dunbar, assistant professor of counselor education; and (3) Students Enhancing FACES: Fostering Advocacy, Communication, Empowerment, and Supports for African American Families of Children with Autism, led by Assistant Professor of Special Education Jamie Pearson.
