Technician: Charlanta: Envisioning the Path to Inclusive, Sustainable Cities

For the NC State Office of University Interdisciplinary Programs's “Envisioning Urban Futures: Charlanta,” a presentation and demonstration-focused exploration into urban planning, students at Wake Stem Early College High School — a Wake County public school that is in partnership with the NC State College of Education — were tasked with researching data in the Charlanta regio, which extends along Interstate 85, from Charlotte, North Carolina to Atlanta, Georgia.

Learning to Address Global Issues Through International Collaboration and Inquiry

NC State Education faculty and staff traveled with 15 Wake STEM Early College High School students to China for the first PBI-Global Student Summit this past spring. The summit provided a venue for students from North Carolina to collaborate with 20 students at the Suzhou North America High School to create solutions for world problems.
