Monica Meza was not able to study abroad as an undergraduate student, but this summer she had an opportunity to serve as the Prague European Center's first graduate student intern. There, she also conducted research into the experience of first-generation students studying abroad.

NC State College of Education Dean Mary Ann Danowitz, the College of Education Global Programs Office and the NC State European Center in Prague have partnered in an effort to provide more academic opportunities for education students to study abroad in Prague. Danowitz recently visited Prague to discuss further collaboration efforts.
