An encounter with one Durham Public Schools student opened METRC Assistant Director Laura B. Fogle’s eyes to the issue of digital equity. Today she is working to close the homework gap through the Digital Durham project, which was recently awarded a Catalyst Grant from the NC State College of Education and its Friday Institute.
