NCCU School of Education Expands Efforts for Teacher Diversity Mentorship Program

In partnership with NC State’s College of Education, NCCU's School of Education will enhance an educator mentoring initiative to support future teachers of color and bilingual teachers who participate in the Leadership Institute for Future Teachers (LIFT) program. Students will be paired with a veteran teacher mentor and an educator advocate to meet regularly throughout a year for mentorship efforts.

NC State College of Education to Hold Leadership Institute for Future Teachers (LIFT) for Rising High School Seniors 6/14-6/18

The NC State College of Education is seeking nominations for its Leadership Institute for Future Teachers (LIFT), a five-day, invitational residential summer program for bilingual students and students of color in high school who are interested in exploring a potential career in education and strengthening their leadership skills. The 2020 LIFT will be held June 14-June 18 on NC State's campus.
