At Pack the Nest, a two-day virtual event organized by NC State College of Education doctoral student Christopher Faison, high school students who want to become teachers learned about education careers from North Carolina Central School of Education and NC State College of Education and students, faculty, administrators and alumni.

The inaugural Leadership Institute for Future Teachers (LIFT), a five-day, invitational program for students of color and bilingual students interested in enhancing their leadership skills and exploring a potential career in education, was held virtually, July 26-31, 2020.

NC State College of Education to Hold Leadership Institute for Future Teachers (LIFT) for Rising High School Seniors 6/14-6/18

The NC State College of Education is seeking nominations for its Leadership Institute for Future Teachers (LIFT), a five-day, invitational residential summer program for bilingual students and students of color in high school who are interested in exploring a potential career in education and strengthening their leadership skills. The 2020 LIFT will be held June 14-June 18 on NC State's campus.

Application Deadline for NC Teaching Fellows Program Extended to 1/21

The application deadline for the North Carolina Teaching Fellows have been extended until midnight, Tuesday, Jan. 21. The NC State College of Education is one of five schools within North Carolina to host a Teaching Fellows program, and is home to the largest cohort of fellows in the state.
