Transformational Scholar and Teaching Fellow Christopher DeSousa’s world was shaped by growing up in eastern North Carolina. His goal is to return to the region as a technology educator.

After nine years in the United States Air Force Reserve and eight years as a science teacher in Cumberland County, Cleshay Breece chose to earn her Master of School Administration to better serve students and teachers as a school leader.

Elevate Welcomes 10 New Students

This August, NC State welcomes 10 new students into Elevate, its inclusive postsecondary education program. They join seven other students who make up the inaugural cohort of Elevate students who began their studies at NC State in January 2025.
