Paper Authored by College of Education Doctoral Students Wins Best Diversity Paper Award from American Society for Engineering Education Community Engagement Division

A paper authored by NC State College of Education doctoral students Micaha Dean Hughes and Aaron Arenas has been selected as the recipient of the Best Diversity Paper Award in the Community Engagement Division of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASSE).

8 Faculty Members Named 2024-25 Fulbright Scholars

Eight NC State faculty members will be thinking and doing across the globe during the upcoming academic year following their selection as 2024-25 U.S. Fulbright Scholars. Among them is Diane Chapman, executive director and associate vice provost for faculty development at the Office for Faculty Excellence and a teaching professor in the College of Education.

Kenneth Ferguson, Trish Sandman Receive College of Education’s 2024 Awards for Excellence

Kenneth Ferguson and Trish Sandman are the recipients of the College of Education’s 2024 Awards for Excellence, which recognize employees who demonstrate excellence in their college or department, the NC State campus community or in the lives of others. They were  honored during the College of Education’s Faculty and Staff Awards Celebration this past spring and during the University Awards for Excellence ceremony on June 4.

Three recent NC State College of Education alumni were recognized for their scholarship when they were presented with Outstanding Dissertation Awards during the college’s May 2024 graduation ceremony. Now, her work has been recognized through a 2024 NC State Chancellor’s Creating Community Outstanding Faculty Award.
