Haley Kuyvenhoven knows that math can be a gateway to a number of different careers in life, but she also knows that, for many K-12 students, math tends to be the subject they struggle with the most in school. For this reason, she chose to come to the NC State College of Education, where she is majoring in mathematics education and was recently selected to be part of the second cohort of students in the NC State STEM Education Scholars Program.
