Apply for TIP Teaching Scholars Award Program

The NC State College of Education and The Innovation Project (TIP), a collaborative of 24 school districts in North Carolina, have established a partnership to provide a $10,000 financial award to at least 10 juniors who teach for at least two years after graduation in one of five public school districts facing teaching shortages.

As part of the first cohort in this new TIP Teaching Scholars Award Program, you will help create a pipeline of highly qualified teachers for school districts that most need teachers. You will also receive enrichment and mentoring opportunities that will further prepare you to meet the needs of your students. Apply by Jan. 15, 2018, to be part of the first cohort of TIP Teaching Scholars.
