\"Online-Graduate-Education-Programs-of-2016\"<\/a>We offer distance education graduate degrees, certificates, and teacher licensure programs in our core academic strengths. Our Distance Education programs are the full equivalent of our campus programs; they receive the same accreditation as campus programs and are taught by NC State faculty. They provide maximum schedule flexibility, allowing you to enhance your current workplace skills or prepare for a new career. This is particularly important for students who are unable to attend campus-based classes due to geographic location, work schedules, or other life circumstances. Delivery methods vary as programs may be off campus or online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MASTER\u2019S PROGRAMS<\/h2>\n\n\n

Learning Design and Technology<\/h2>

Prepares education professionals to lead digital learning programs, design digital learning environments, and inquire into digital learning solutions to continuously refine instruction and improve student learning. Graduates commonly work as classroom teachers, K-12 school- or system-level digital learning professionals, digital leaders in higher education, or in varied positions in government or private industry (e.g., instructional designers, e-learning developers).<\/p>

New Literacies and Global Learning<\/h2>

The Master\u2019s of Education (MEd) in Reading, English Language Arts, or Social Studies: The New Literacies and Global Learning (NLGL) Program is a distance education program is aimed at increasing teachers\u2019 capacity for teaching reading, English language arts or social studies in a rapidly changing world. New literacies enable learners to broaden their modes of making and representing \u201cmeaning,\u201d while also developing deep content knowledge.<\/p>

The Initial Licensure Program in Business and Marketing Education is a 12-credit hour online program designed specifically for provisional licensed teachers currently in a Business and Marketing classroom.<\/p>
