These can be as varied as using virtual reality or intelligent tutoring methods to enhance education, to discovering how using dynamic geometry software applies to teaching mathematics.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ncst-big-fact has-indigo-400-background-color\"><div class=\"big-fact__container\"><h2 class=\"big-fact__heading\">$37.5 Million in Grants<\/h2><p class=\"big-fact__support\">Along with 36 departments across campus, we\u2019ve received substantial funding.<\/p><div class=\"wp-block-ncst-buttons\"><\/div>\n\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">STEM Research Concentrations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Educational Technology Topics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Includes environmental and outdoor education, lifelong science learning, nanotechnology education and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Technology, Engineering and Design Education Topics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Includes engineering education in grades K\u201312, visual literacy, leadership development and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Mathematics Education Research Topics<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Includes teaching mathematics with technology, digital resources and assessment, elementary mathematics learning using MathTalk and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Working hand-in-hand across campus, as well as nationally and internationally, researchers have <strong>access to a wide range of resources and staff expertise<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funding <strong>opportunities come from sponsors<\/strong> such as the National Science Foundation, U.S. Department of Education, The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and many others.
