Dr. Chirino-Klevans’ has ample expertise in integrating technology and cultural dimensions in e-learning. She has been recognized internationally for innovative ways to integrate different technologies into education, training and development programs in global learning environments. Dr. Chirino-Klevans has been invited to teach and deliver presentations on this topic in Latin America, Europe, Asia and America. She is a frequent keynote speaker for large conferences internationally. Her research interests are in culture and technology in virtual learning environments as well as cross cultural competency for educators. She has a PhD in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Psychology, a Master’s degree in Business Administration and her undergraduate degree is in Psychology. She also has a specialization in Instructional Design focusing on technology integration. She serves as Chief Editor of the Hispanic Education and Technology Consortium Journal. A former member of the Mexican national gymnastics team and All-American in gymnastics, she brings her expertise in sports to the classroom to design high impact and transformative learning experiences for her students. She if fully bilingual in English-Spanish.
