Join us for an evening of discussion about contemporary issues facing the American public during the Dining with Democracy event on Thursday, Nov. 4, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Participants will be guided through facilitated, roundtable activities that will allow them to do something fairly rare in today\u2019s political culture: engage in an open discussion about our differences. This event will be held via Zoom.<\/p>\n
In addition to the NC State University community, we are inviting area middle and high school students, teachers, parents, and community members. All are welcome.<\/p>\n
Dr. Paula McAvoy, and Dr. Christy Byrd, professors in the NC State College of Education, will host the evening, and NC State College of Education students will guide participants through the discussion activities.
