NC State’s College of Education Ranked #30 in U.S. News’ 2024 Best Graduate Schools

The NC State College of Education is tied at No. 30 in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2025 Best Graduate Schools rankings released April 9, 2024, placing the College of Education among the top 7% in the nation among both public and private universities. That’s an improvement of one spot from last year and an improvement of 29 spots over the past decade.

NC State’s College of Education was tied at #30 in the nation in the 2023 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online Master's in Education Programs rankings. Nationally, the college also ranked #9 for veterans, and in speciality categories, #15 in Educational Administration and Supervision and #19 in Curriculum and Instruction.

US News Ranks NC State College of Education’s Online Master’s Programs Among Best in Nation

In U.S. News & World Report’s 2020 Best Online Master’s Education Programs released Jan. 14, the NC State College of Education's online master's programs ranked among the best in the country, at No. 31 overall, No. 8 for veterans, No. 10 for educational/instructional media design and No. 15 in curriculum and instruction. Among colleges of education in North Carolina, the NC State College of Education was the top-ranked for veterans and in educational/instructional media design and in curriculum and instruction.
