College of Education’s Master of School Administration Program Wins Opal Mann Green Engagement and Scholarship Award

The College of Education’s Master of School Administration program, which was ranked as the top program of its kind in North Carolina by U.S. News and World Report’s Best Graduate School Rankings, will be recognized this summer with the Opal Mann Green Engagement and Scholarship Award.

$3.75M Grant Will Help Train New Cohorts of School Leaders Through Innovative Principal Preparation Program

The NC State College of Education is one of only five universities in the nation whose principal preparation program is recognized as exemplary by the University Council for Educational Administration. A $3.75 million grant will allow the college to prepare two new cohorts of school leaders through this innovative program. 

Since the 2017 publication of the U.S. News' Best Graduate School Rankings, the NC State College of Education has improved 28 spots in the rankings.

U.S. News Ranks NC State College of Education #31 in Nation, 5 Programs in Specialty Categories

The NC State College of Education is tied at No. 31 in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2021 Best Graduate School Rankings among 393 graduate colleges of education in the nation. That is an improvement of 14 spots over last year. U.S. News also ranked programs within the college in five education specialty categories: Educational Administration and Supervision, Curriculum and Instruction, Elementary Teacher Education, Higher Education Administration and Secondary Teacher Education.
