EdNC.org: NC State’s Acclaimed Principal Program Assesses Candidate Character

Ahead of choosing its eighth cohort, the NC State College of Education's principal preparation program led by Professor Bonnie Fusarelli reassessed the goals of the program. They evaluated what kind of leaders they want to create to administer schools. Then they split the traits into two categories: those that can be taught through coursework and training, and those that should already exist within individuals.

NC State College of Education Board Announces $90,000 Challenge

The members of the NC State College of Education Board have issued the $90,000 Challenge to celebrate the founding of the school 90 years ago. The Board will give up to $90,000 to support students and programs across the college if alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends join them in celebrating the college’s 90th anniversary by engaging in up to three activities.
