Counseling and Counselor Education Doctoral Student Wesley Wade ‘23PHD Wins Chancellor’s Creating Community Award for Outstanding Staff

Wesley Wade ‘23PHD has received the Chancellor’s Creating Community Award for Outstanding Staff for his ability to go above and beyond to support students in his role at the Career Development Center. He will continue to provide support to many as a counselor when he graduates with a Ph.D. from the College of Education’s Counseling and Counselor Education program.

NC State College of Education alumna Darlene Wilkins '00, '03MS and her husband, Brooks Wilkins, a graduate of the NC State College of Sciences, are battling on the frontlines of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic together. He's a family physician and she's a nurse in Raleigh. They have been practicing medicine alongside each other for a long time.
