College of Education Doctoral Students Share ‘Critical Conversations’ Through Classroom Video Podcast

Associate Professor Cameron Denson and Teaching Assistant Mwenda Kudumu wanted to develop a way to engage students in class discussions without using online forums. They developed a model that will now be shared online through the “Critical Conversations” video podcast.

Sharon Loza, who is pursuing a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership, Policy and Human Development with a program area of study in educational evaluation and policy analysis, was interviewed by EdNC about increasing services for North Carolina children with special needs. She is coordinator of the North Carolina Infant-Toddler Program's Early Intervention Branch.
