Melvin “Jai” Jackson Named Director for Graduate Student Recruitment, Mentoring, and Success

Melvin “Jai” Jackson, Ph.D., will begin as NC State College of Education’s director for graduate student recruitment, mentoring, and success Aug. 1. Jackson’s primary responsibility will be providing graduate student and program support to ensure graduate student success, recruiting prospective graduate students, and assessing graduate programs.

With 1K+ Donors, NC State College of Education Has Record Year of Giving in 2017-18

The NC State College of Education received gifts totaling $4,680,964 from 1,047 donors during fiscal year 2017-18. The number of donors is the highest total the college has had in a single year in its 90-year history, and the dollar amount in gifts is the most since at least 2003.
