International Travel Gateway

NC State University adopted the Regulation on Student International Travel and Approval of Study Abroad in spring 2017 aimed at promoting the well-being and safety of NC State students who engage in international travel.

All students engaging in university-affiliated international travel will be required to register with the Study Abroad Office. This will allow the University to provide greater support to all students who engage in university-affiliated international travel, whether or not it is for academic credit.

Visit the International Travel Gateway section of the Study Abroad Office website for more information on the regulation and how to have students who are participating in non credit-bearing university affiliated international travel submit their itinerary and purchase international health insurance for their time abroad.

Please Note: Students who are participating in study abroad will automatically be enrolled as part of their study abroad application.
