Advising International Students

NC State faculty are increasingly interacting with culturally diverse classrooms. Over 4,000 international students are currently enrolled at NC State from more than 100 different countries. Engaging such a broad range of perspectives and contexts in the classroom can create a number of challenges and opportunities for faculty.

Every semester, international exchange students from all over the world join us on campus for a semester or year. They take courses with NC State professors, live on campus, and become involved on campus.  Only a small number of exchange students take college of education courses.  Learn more about the International Exchange Program that the Study Abroad office coordinates and the academic advising process.
