The Literacy and Community Initiative Annual Reading Celebration

The Literacy and Community Initiative (LCI), a collaboration between the NC State College of Education and the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation that partners with community-based organizations to examine and empower youth voices, will hold its 2021 Annual Reading Celebration on Friday, April 23 at 6. p.m. Youth from CORRAL Riding Academy and the Refugee Hope Partners will read their written narratives and answer questions on their personal journeys.
