PD 663 – Working with Students in Foster Care

September 20, 2017 | 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Teachers will undoubtedly have students in foster care or other transient living situations early in their careers. These students often go unnoticed in the classroom and represent unique instructional and classroom management issues. This panel discussion will feature current and former students who were in these situations as well as teachers and parents who have dealt with these issues first hand to help shed light the issues faced and provide strategies for working with students who face these struggles.
