PD 6622 – Trauma Informed Practice (TIPS) Workshop

An event every week that begins at 10:00 am on Tuesday, repeating until March 3, 2020
This is a six-session workshop focused on addressing trauma in educational contexts. Participants will learn about definitions of trauma and trauma-informed practices, identify trauma behaviors that children display, understand how educators and social workers can collaborate to assist trauma-exposed students and acquire a research-based trauma intervention toolkit to work with children and families exposed to trauma.
This workshop will include students from both education and social work. We have a limited number of openings. You must sign up for this event (go.ncsu.edu/tipsworkshop) and receive confirmation that you can attend.
