PD 538 – Get Feedback on Your Diversity-Related Lesson Plans

An event every week that begins at 1:30 pm on Thursday, repeating until April 29, 2022
Are you interested in improving your instruction around issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion? Do you have an activity that you want to test out? Do you want to practice leading a discussion on a controversial topic? Do you want to brainstorm about how to address a topic in your course?
Bring your lesson/discussion to our class of master’s and doctoral students interested in teaching about diversity. We’ll be your guinea pigs and provide feedback. Our course meets Thursdays 1:30-4:15. Please contact Dr. Byrd at christy_byrd@ncsu.edu to discuss scheduling and with any questions.
The lesson can address any topic related to diversity, equity, and/or inclusion designed for a K-12, undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral level audience and can last from 15 minutes to 1.5 hours.
