2019 DRIVE Summit

As North Carolina continues to improve educational outcomes for all students, it is imperative that the state’s education system reflect the diverse students it serves. To do this, North Carolina must commit to a more intentional, thoughtful and proactive approach to recruit, develop, support and retain educators of color in North Carolina. With this goal in mind, the Governor’s Office is partnering with the North Carolina Business Committee for Education (NCBCE) and The Hunt Institute to host the “DRIVE Summit: Developing a Representative and Inclusive Vision for Education.”
The NC State College of Education is one of the supporters of the DRIVE Summit, which will be held in NC State’s Talley Student Union.
