Advanced Administration Institute

NC State University offers an Advanced Administration Institute (AAI), for community college professionals who hold the title of Deans, Division Chair, Director, or who are experienced Department Chairs preparing for their next professional leadership role. AAI is aligned within a framework that integrates the American Association of Community College key competencies (AACC), the Aspen Institute for Excellence, and draws upon the academic expertise of the surrounding community colleges. AAI is offered as part of our NC State Envisioning Excellence Initiative.AAI is intended for an audience of community college leaders who wish to learn about community college leadership from multiple vantage points: the lens of increased performance of core Dean or Directorship duties; the lens of leading through creating an awareness and adaptation of state and national community college best practices; the lens of leading through developing and sustaining an intentional reflective practice identity.

Registration for the Spring 2019 Advanced Administration Institute (AAI) is now open.
