Brothers United in Leadership Development Summit
“Vision Reactivated: Building Confidence, Community, and Connections”
The Brothers United in Leadership Development (B.U.I.L.D.) Summit, presented by the North Carolina State University College of Education, is an annual event designed to expose 9th-11th grade high school male students, in particular male students of color, to the diverse role of leaders in a growing global society. Through the B.U.I.L.D. Summit, students will engage in activities that will help to enhance their leadership skills, personal development, and career and college readiness. They will also have the opportunity to interact with campus leaders, community partners, and their peers.
This year’s theme for the annual B.U.I.L.D. Summit is “Vision Reactivated: Building Confidence, Community, and Connections.” The event will take place on Saturday, April 17, 2021, virtually via Zoom. Registration check-in will be held from 9:30 a.m. -10 a.m., and the event will conclude at approximately 2:00 p.m. The event is free of cost. All participants must submit a registration form and will be notified of their registration status prior to attending the event.

Registration Information
There are two types of registration — one for individual students and one for groups of 5 or more students.
Individual Student Registration
For individual students interested in attending the event, please complete the Student Registration Form. Parents/guardians must also complete the Parent/Guardian Permission Form to provide permission for their student to attend the event, as well as to consent to the public relations waiver. Both the Student Registration Form and the Parent/Guardian Permission Form must be submitted online in order for the student to be considered for participation.

2021 B.U.I.L.D. Group Registration FormThere are 100 spaces available for participants to attend the event which are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The forms will be reviewed in the order in which they are received. Confirmed participants will be notified via email of their registration status and given further event details closer to the event date.
