Welcome to the College of Education! The College of Education at NC State offers the best of both worlds: An intimate program in a large, sophisticated university. With more than 33,000 students, NC State is the largest institution in the University of North Carolina system. Yet the College of Education student-faculty ratio is only around 15-to-1, which allows you to enjoy personal interaction with your professors and advisors, while you develop your skills and abilities to their highest potential. To learn more about the College of Education, we encourage you to come to one of our Friday information sessions. In coordination with NC State’s Joyner Visitor's Center, the College of Education hosts an information session on Fridays where you can learn more about our majors, special programs, student organizations, scholarships and more. All sessions are from 1:30-2:00 p.m. Our fall info sessions will start on Friday, September 11th. The information sessions are designed for prospective students (high school students and transfer students) interested in undergraduate degrees in teacher education. Please visit this link to learn more about the majors that we offer: http://ced.ncsu.edu/dept/degrees.php.
Students interested in attending a College of Education information session are strongly encouraged to sign up for the university’s 10:00 a.m. information session at the Joyner Visitor’s Center. The information session at Joyner will provide you with an overview of the university and general information about NC State’s admissions requirements. We ask that you first register for a Joyner Visitor’s Center information session at this site: http://admissions.ncsu.edu/why-ncstate/visit/ and then return to this page to complete the request form below to sign up for a College of Education information session. Your attendance at the info session will be confirmed within 48 hours of request. Please note that a confirmation is required to ensure that your visit is confirmed.
If you are not able to attend any of the Friday Information Sessions listed, please contact the Student Success and Advising Center at cedvisits@ncsu.edu after first completing the form below.
