Undergraduate Programs

NC State’s College of Education is unique in offering an undergraduate experience that is unique among its peer institutions. Our flexible options allow you to earn multiple licensures and/or bachelor degrees. All programs utilize 21st Century learning and teaching strategies.

Mathematics Education–Middle School or Secondary

With six different options in undergraduate degrees, including dual majors, our Mathematics Education program prepares professionals for a variety of positions of instructional leadership in the field of mathematics education. We offer degrees for middle school (grades 6 – 9) and high school (grades 9 – 12) education.

Science Education–Middle School or Secondary

As an exciting, cutting-edge discipline, there is a crucial need for science teachers in the 21st century. With a teaching license in the science areas, our graduates will be able to seek employment and make a positive difference in the future of their communities.

Technology, Engineering, and Design Education

With an emphasis on innovation and hands-on learning, this program prepares individuals for a variety of engineering and design employment opportunities, this program leads to teacher licensure.

Technology, Engineering, and Design Education: Graphic Communications Minor

With an emphasis on innovation and hands-on learning, this program prepares individuals for a variety of engineering and design employment opportunities, this program is a non-licensure graphics communications option.
