Quick Facts
- Face-to-face instruction (no online classes)
- 3 host site locations: Wake County, Durham, and Rocky Mount
- Class are held at night and on the weekends
- Distance Education rates apply (1/2 the cost of traditional courses)
- Part-time program that consists of 6 education classes, completed in 3 semesters
- 2 start options:
- Spring Start (Your 3 semesters are Spring, Fall, Spring)
- Summer Start (Your 3 semesters are Summer, Fall, Spring)
- You do not need to have a teaching job to be eligible for NC TEACH at NCSU. (But you will need one year of successful teaching before you can clear your Provisional License).
Licensure Areas Offered
- High School: Science, Social Studies, Math, English
- Middle School: Science, Social Studies, Math, Language Arts
- K-12: Spanish and French

North Carolina Teachers of Excellence for All CHildren (NC TEACH) is designed to recruit, train, support, and retain mid-career professionals as they become licensed teachers in North Carolina. This program is for professionals who have non-education degrees and would like to earn their teaching license.
