Graduate Students Win 1st Place in National Video Contest
March 9, 2009-- Four first year master's students in the Higher Education Department, Sarah Starkey, Matt Lawing, Hillary Waugh, and Emily Sharples, won 1st place in the Educational category in the 8th Annual StudentAffairs.com Virtual Case Study Competition for their video titled, Postcards.
Thirty-one teams participated in this year's competition of creating 1-3 minute resident assistant training videos. The judges thoroughly enjoyed the NCSU video and it was described as very powerful and extremely well-done. Studentaffairs.com is planning to publish the videos and scripts in their April e-journal.
