Dean Moore appointed to Board of North Carolina Teacher Academy by Governor Easley

Governor Michael F. Easley has appointed Dean Kay Moore to the North Carolina Teacher Academy Board of Trustees. The Term is effective immediately and will run through June 30, 2011.
The North Carolina Teacher Academy, funded by the North Carolina General Assembly, is a professional development program for teachers to support and improve school leadership, instructional methodology, core content, and modern technology use in the classroom. The Board is committed to ensuring that the Academy functions as a research-based teaching and learning organization responding to the need for highly qualified teachers in the state of North Carolina.
Dean Moore also serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the International Education of Students (Chicago), a Board Member of the Wake Education Partnership, and member of the Business Education Technology Alliance (BETA).
