Polycom
The Polycom system allows interactivity to all web cameras that are using software that is h.323 compatible. This includes Microsoft Netmeeting for the PC and ohphonex for the macintosh.
All controls of the polycom unit are done via the remote control.
Placing a Video Call (via IP address)
1. Select Video Call from the main screen.
2. In the Video Phone screen enter the IP address (for example 255.255.255.255)
If you make a mistake while entering a number press the left arrow button to go back. To enter a period press the right arrow button.
3. Enter any additional information needed for the call:
a. Call Quality – set on Auto
4. Press the green Call/Hang-up button to place the call
Ending a Video Call
1. Press the green Call/Hang-up button
2. Select Disconnect Video Call from the screen
3. If the number you called is not in the address book you will now have
the opportunity to add it.
