USING THE POWERBOOK
*Always place it on a flat, stable surface, leaving plenty
of air space around the power adapter and computer.
*It is normal for the bottom of the case to feel warm while
in use or when charging the battery. Never rest the computer on soft material
such as a bed or pillow while it is turned on or charging. The bottom
and back of the case contain airflow vents that prevent it from overheating.
*Never place anything over your keyboard before closing the display. This
can cause it to cycle on and off, and drain your battery.

If you carry the computer in a bag or briefcase, make sure
there are no loose items, such as paper clips or coins, that could accidentally
fall into the computer through a drive slot, for example.
STORING THE POWERBOOK
If it is going to be stored for an extended time, do one
of the following to prevent your battery from becoming completely depleted:
*Keep the power adapter connected. Remember not to block the airflow vents.
*Fully charge your PowerBook battery before storing it.
