Wired Wednesdays have become Tech Tuesdays! Based on the results from our Workshop Survey we are now offering Technology Information Sessions on Tuesday Mornings at 9 am in Poe 512. This informal setting is designed for everyone to share and learn from each other’s experiences. All instructors & students welcome.

Google Docs vs. Wikis
Google Docs and Wikis both give you options for collaboratively create material, but what are the differences, and when should I use them? Come join us as we go over the basics of both products, as well as discuss their uses in teaching and research.
December 1st
Social Media: Where do Twitter, Facebook & others fit into education?
Is social media a fad? How will it change the way we communicate, or has it already? Don't know what tools would be beneficial to you? Join us for an overview of Social Media tools as well as a discussion about how they are used in education.
For those unable to attend the session in person, we will be streaming the session using UStream. You will able to view the presentation as well as interact with other virtual participants via chat.
