Learning Technologies

Technology Assessment Project for N.C. Teachers

Beginning in April 1998, anyone applying for an initial teaching license in North Carolina must demonstrate competence in fourteen areas of computer skills.

This site will provide information about the technology requirements and assessment, and also provide resources for learning the required skills. This site is a collaborative effort among the Instructional Technology Specialists at the schools of education at North Carolina State University, the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Please send questions, comments or suggestions to Cheryl Goldstein (UNC-CH), or Lisa Grable (NCSU).
