Extension

Faculty in NC State's Department of Leadership, Policy and Adult and Higher Education (LPAHE) are committed to extension and engagement activities in K-12 and higher education settings, and in community and workplace organizations. Several faculty in the department have received awards and recognition for extension and engagement activities. As well, LPAHE houses NILIE, designed to assist institutions in developing strategies that improve student success through collaborative leadership, and the Community College Review journal.

• DCI: Department Chairs Institute (designed to build the skills of front-line academic administrators in the 58 North Carolina community colleges)
