The I+DEA office coordinates distance education and the internationalization initiative in the College of Education. All international programs are safe, affordable, accessible and have a strong impact on our students. We develop strategic partnerships all over the world to provide pre-service teachers the opportunity to complete a portion of their student-teaching semester abroad. If you are a CED student in teacher licensure or degree program at NC State and eligible to student teach, you have an amazing opportunity for student-teaching abroad in the Spring and Summer of 2015. Student-teaching abroad opens up new opportunities for teachers: you will have the chance to experience education from a different cultural perspective, start your path to develop skills to effectively teach English language learners, understand the role of culture in the design of lesson plans, and enhance your overall teaching skills in diverse environments.
