Masters Admission Procedures
Departmental deadlines for completed master's degree applications are October 1 (Spring) and March 1 (Summer or Fall). Late or incomplete applications will have to wait until the next department deadline to be reviewed. Departmental action on applications is taken once during the fall semester and once during the spring semester. All supporting documents must be received by the departmental deadline in order for an application to be considered. (Note: The departmental deadlines are earlier than those of the Graduate School.)
Admission Requirements
1. Non-refundable Application fee of $65 (U.S. citizens and permanent residents) or $75 (International residents).
2. Two official copies of all transcripts.
3. Scores from either the Miller Analogies Test (MAT) or the Graduate Record Exam (GRE).
4. Three letters of recommendation.
5. A 500-800 word goals statement.
6. Faculty may contact you if more information is needed.
