Graduate
The Department of Elementary Education has two graduate programs.
The Masters of Education (MEd) is a program designed for those who hold a baccalaureate-level teaching license.
The Masters of Arts in Teaching (MAT) is a program designed for students seeking to earn an initial teaching license in elementary education and simultaneously obtain a teaching degree. You must hold a baccalaureate degree in something other than teaching. For more information, please visit the MAT website or contact Dr. Micha Jeffries at micha_jeffries@ncsu.edu for an appointment to discuss your program.
