Dr. Minogue teaches elementary science methods courses at both the undergraduate and graduate level. Much of his research centers on systematically exploring the use of haptics (simulated touch) in the teaching of school science concepts. He is also involved in a research project that examines the prudent use of science notebooks and studies that explore preservice teachers' evolving mental models of themselves as science teachers.
