Dr. Ellen McIntyre

Ellen McIntyre is a professor of literacy education and the Department Head of Elementary Education. Dr. McIntyre teaches courses on literacy research, theory, and methods and courses on diversity issues in schools and communities. Her research has focused on children's literacy development and instructional practices, especially for populations of students who have historically struggled in schools.
