GroupWise Webclipping for Palm OS 3.5

To install GroupWise WebClipping first download the GroupWise Webclipping.pqa.

Install it as you would any other application from your Palm Desktop or alternatively by just double-clicking the .pqa file.

The new application will be installed the next time you sync your device.When installed successfully a new icon will appear in your Palm Programs menu:

Installing The Web Clipping Libraries

The first step in using PQAs on your Palm is to install the web clipping libraries. The zip file includes the following 5 files :

Clipper 3.2
iNetLib 3.2
Weblibrary 3.2
Securitylibrary 3.2
Wireless 1.0

• If your OS is Palm OS® Software v. 3.5.0 or higher. You can download this file HERE
• If your OS is Palm OS® Software v.4.0 or higher, You can download this file HERE
  
  Use your Palm Desktop install tool to install these downloaded files.

After installing these files do a soft reset of your device. Resetting the Proxy (Not Necesary for Palm OS® 4.1)

Palm maintains several proxies servers through which you can access PQA functionality. The wireless applet gives you an easy way to do so.

Go to Prefs application on your Palm device. Tap the menu on the top right corner and choose the Wireless option. (This option was added when you installed the wireless.prc file included in the zip file above.)

After the Wireless option is selected your screen should look like this:

Tap the proxy setting displayed. Your screen should now look like this:

You can now edit the proxy setting as you would edit any text on your Palm. When you are done editing just tap the OK button and your new proxy settings will be saved.The new proxy number will be 63.97.179.31To change your proxy settings back to the default proxy simply follow steps 1-3, tap the Default button and tap the OK button. Your proxy will now be set back to the default.

That's it! You are now ready to access Groupwise wirelessly, quickly and securely.
