Chi Sigma Iota (waiting on description & location)
Nu Sigma Chi is the NC State chapter of Chi Sigma Iota, the International Honor Society for professional counselors, counselor educators, and students. Chi Sigma Iota promotes scholarship, research, professionalism, leadership and excellence in counseling, and recognizes high attainment in the pursuit of academic and clinical excellence in the profession of counseling. Counselor Education students are eligible to join after completing one full time semester of course work and earning at least a 3.5 GPA. Doctoral students can transfer their membership from a previous chapter to Nu Sigma Chi. For more information on joining Chi Sigma Iota visit www.csi-net.org.
