North Carolina State University
Counselor Education Graduate Student Association
Who is the GSA?
You are! The Graduate Student Association (GSA) is created for and by its members – you. Anyone who is a graduate student of the Counselor Education Department (CED) at NC State University is a member of the CED-GSA.
The GSA Executive Council was created to serve you, and we accomplish this mission in a few different ways:
- We represent you at the University Graduate Student Association (UGSA) by bringing your voice to their meetings. We bring back details on funding and all other incentives they have to offer.
- We disseminate information that you might want or need to know; such as about conferences and other career and educational opportunities that might benefit you.
- We listen to you at our monthly meeting (you are invited to attend), to find out what is important to you.
- We try to provide services which you find beneficial, such as the Fall & Spring Socials, guest speakers, and the bi-annual newsletter.
You can get to know the council members more by choosing the "Who are we?" link at the bottom left of this page or by coming to one of our meetings. Meeting times will be sent out on listserv. Please come, get involved, and let your voice be heard!
