Can more than one course be taken a semester?
Yes. On a space-available basis, a student may take more than one course per semester. However, only one class per term is reserved for online certificate students. Students may find that an additional course is offered in another format such as face-to-face or in a weekend format. Therefore, while the course may be offered, it will not necessarily be taught in the online. In addition, students must be sure to take the exact course code that is listed in the Graduate Certificate Program curriculum. To be sure, students may inquire with our offices. While taking more than one course per term may accelerate the receipt of the certificate, it may also leave students with gaps in their program of study. No course substitutions will be permitted.
