We recommend that you administer the SACE in conjunction with the PACE in order to gain more information about the PACE student focus climate factor. The PACE measures student perception of the instructional services environment, student development environment, administrative and physical environments, and student focus environment of the organization. The purpose of the SACE instrument is to promote open and constructive communication and to establish priorities for change by obtaining the satisfaction estimates of students concerning the campus climate. Items on this instrument are divided into five areas: instructional services environment, student development environment, administrative and physical environment, student focus environment, and social and cultural environment. Five research questions are answered in institutional reports to include priorities for change.
