We strive for instructional excellence through the use of adult learning principles and collaborative learning environments in both traditional and distance delivery of courses and programs.
- In our research, we value diverse methodological approaches and perspectives and the investigation of problems with national and international significance. We foster high quality, rigorous research, and the dissemination of new understandings and best practices.
- In our service, we pursue social and organizational change, educational improvement initiatives for our communities and the state, as well as leadership development for community colleges and other adult and higher education professionals.
