Doctor of Adult & Community College Education
The Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Adult and Community College Education degree is designed to prepare practitioners for leadership and teaching positions in their work with educating adults. The focus is on the study and practice of teaching, learning, leading, and education-planning for individuals, groups, and society. Students in the Adult and Community College Education doctoral degree program have opportunities for doctoral study in the Raleigh cohort or the Charlotte cohort:
Master of Adult & Community College Education
The Master of Adult and Community College Education (M.S., or M.Ed.) degree is designed to prepare practitioners for leadership and teaching positions in their work with educating adults. The focus is on the study and practice of teaching, learning, leading, and education-planning for individuals, groups, and society. The Master of Adult and Community College program provides opportunities to specialize in one of three areas: Adult and Continuing Professional Education, Health Professions Education, or Community College Teaching.

Graduate Certificate in Community College Teaching
The graduate certificate in Adult and Community College Education offers students an option to pursue a graduate certificate in community college teaching. The graduate certificate in community college teaching focuses on developing the knowledge and skills necessary to design and deliver course-related content through technology-enhanced learning environments for faculty who teach in community colleges and other post secondary settings. The courses developed for the graduate certificate will enhance faculty abilities in both online and classroom environments.
